Jack Feehan

Jack is a senior research fellow in the Institute for Health and Sport, with an interest in translational immunotherapeutics, healthy ageing, and chronic diseases. He is currently working on a range of novel translational interventions to improve the health of older people, including vaccines, nutritional supplementation, and allied health management.

Jack gained his Ph.D. from the University of Melbourne in 2021, looking into immunological and stem cell involvement in chronic musculoskeletal disease of the elderly. Since beginning his Ph.D. he has published more than 50 peer reviewed journal articles, several book chapters and a textbook on exercise in chronic disease. He regularly writes on COVID-19 and vaccines for global media organization, the conversation, where his articles have been read by more the 1.3 million readers.
